My name is Bridgid Ruden and I suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2008.  The accident caused aphasia, epilepsy, post-traumatic stress disorder, vertigo, balance issues and memory loss. These devastating disabilities have stolen many valuable aspects from my life, including my career as a Nurse Practitioner. I will not however, let it steal away my hope, courage, or my future. As a testament to my recovery, I am publicly sharing my struggles, insights and successes with health care professionals, survivors and their advocates as an inspirational and educational speaker.  I hope sharing my journey will encourage you to keep going on your own journey and give you some insights into the many ways to not only survive, but to LIVE in recovery!  Please contact me if there is anything I can do to help or enlighten you.  Thank you and God Bless!

My Dream

I am looking for further opportunities to continue presenting my story as a Keynote Speaker for any organization. I have successfully presented national and internationally and have appeared on television and the radio. My current book is in the process of being published, entitled ‘Discovering My Life’s Purpose. From Tragedy to Triumph’.

Attendees of my presentation are amazed, uplifted, further educated and inspired for their own life’s journey. I have never received negative feedback. Each presentation is created based on the audience whom is present.   My dream continues to flourish when I present wherever I’m need and thus enlightens my spirit and provides further healing.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Surprising, shocking and amazing information from Dr. Andrew G. Lee, MD

“Bridgid, you are a miracle. I remember as your physician telling you these words in our clinic as I reviewed your brain CT scan from your initial head injury. Although you are not alone in suffering a significant traumatic head injury, I believe that you are unique in your positive approach to your recovery, your dedication to sharing your experience, and your commitment to helping and motivating others to overcome their own life obstacles and adversity. As a physician I deeply and sincerely admire your efforts and your positive attitude in dealing with a truly difficult and challenging personal experience. I am always pleased to hear of the many positive life changes that have occurred for your as you continue on your journey towards recovery.  I also always get a kick out of your ability to share your experiences with the medical system and in our clinic when you speak publically. I wish you good luck and great success on your book, Discovering a Life’s Purpose and I hope that your message of hope, recovery, and optimism reaches as many people as possible so that they can benefit from your experience, wisdom, and wit. Although we sometimes are witness to events that are miraculous, sometimes the real miracles are people like you.”
